Yes that's right, I’ve been photographing giant black marlin on the Great Barrier Reef for almost 20 years.

From a photographer's perspective, there are so many things to love about spending the entire marlin season at sea.

The sunlight glinting on the water as it spills off a giant marlin propelling itself into the air. The sun rising over the breaking wall of the reef in the early mornings and over the mountainous Cairns, Daintree and Cooktown to Iron Ranges coast at night.
